Mix Therapy for iOS

The current iPhone and iPad app works without an account. It processes user-selected reference photos and dry-swatch photos on the device and does not upload the photos, sampled colors, custom paints, saved recipes or calibration history to Mix Therapy servers.

The iOS app has no advertising or analytics SDK and Mix Therapy does not collect data from it. The notebook is stored locally on the device. You can export a versioned notebook archive containing project data and available reference photos, reset the notebook from the app, or remove all app data by deleting the app. Dry-swatch photos are processed for sampling but are not retained in the notebook archive.

What stays on your device

Reference photos and paint-swatch photos are processed in your browser. Mix Therapy does not upload those image files to our servers. Your paint box, recipes, projects and calibration history are saved in your browser first.

Optional account and cloud sync

If you choose Continue with Google, we request only your name, email address, profile image and a unique account identifier. We cannot read your Gmail, Google Contacts or Google Drive. We use the profile information only to authenticate you and associate your synced studio data with your account.

If you choose email sign-in, we receive your email address and send a secure one-time sign-in link. Mix Therapy never receives or stores a password for this method.

When cloud sync is enabled, your projects, paint box, saved recipes, calibration records and usage counters are sent securely to our Google Cloud and Firebase services. We use this data only to provide and maintain your studio.

Payments and Stripe

If you subscribe to Studio Pro, Stripe collects and processes your payment details, billing address, tax information and payment authentication data under Stripe's Privacy Policy. Mix Therapy does not receive or store your full card number or card security code.

We receive and store the Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, subscription status, billing period, invoice status and limited contact information needed to provide Studio Pro, open the customer portal, prevent duplicate checkout sessions and respond to billing questions.

For the Guided Mix pilot, you first send a request through the website. If we accept the case, we send a separate one-time Stripe payment link for US$19. The pilot does not enroll you in Studio Pro or create a recurring subscription. We use the resulting payment record only to confirm payment, deliver the requested service, handle support and meet legal obligations.

Account and studio data can be deleted on request. We and Stripe may retain billing records for fraud prevention, accounting, tax, dispute resolution and other legal obligations for the period those obligations require.

Guided Mix pilot submissions

The website request form collects your email address, paint brand or pigment details, target color description, page language and any controlled campaign tags in the page URL. Cloudflare processes the request and stores it in a restricted Cloudflare D1 database before the website confirms success. Cloudflare may also deliver a notification to the Mix Therapy operator. We use this material only to assess and deliver the requested pilot service, provide support and evaluate the pilot in aggregate.

The request form does not accept images. If an accepted case later needs a reference, send only a tightly cropped target or swatch—not faces, private documents or a full artwork. Email providers may retain later correspondence under their own policies. Declined or incomplete request records are deleted within 90 days. Accepted-case and payment records may be retained as long as delivery, fraud-prevention, accounting, tax or dispute obligations require. You can request deletion of pilot materials subject to those obligations.

Analytics and local storage

We use browser storage to keep the tool working between visits. Cloudflare Web Analytics separately provides aggregate page-view and performance measurements so we can monitor website delivery and reliability. Cloudflare states that this service does not use cookies or local storage, does not fingerprint individual visitors and does not track them across its customers' websites. It remains active when optional Google Analytics is declined.

Google Analytics is optional. It helps us understand aggregated actions such as starting a mix, generating a recipe or using a feature. Photos, sampled colors, recipe notes, project names, account details and email addresses are never included in analytics events.

Analytics storage is denied by default. If you allow analytics, Google may store an analytics identifier and process device, browser, approximate location and interaction information according to Google's policies. Advertising storage, signals and personalization remain disabled. You can withdraw or change your choice at any time.

Affiliate links

Some studio-tool links lead to Amazon. As an Amazon Associate, Mix Therapy may earn from qualifying purchases. Amazon may collect information after you follow one of those links under its own privacy policy.

Retention, deletion and security

Local data remains in your browser until you clear it. Synced data remains while your account is active or until you request deletion. We use access controls and encrypted connections, but no online service can promise absolute security.

To request a copy or deletion of your synced Mix Therapy data, email support@mixtherapy.space from the address connected to your account.
